Sinulog Festival

The Sinulog festival  is celebrated every year by the Cebuano's every 3rd Sunday of January to give honor and remember how the native Cebuano accepted the Spaniards last 15th century when they arrive and spread the Christianity, it is the Spaniards who baptized the Cebuano to become a christian, in the event to celebrate the re-enact the history, Sinulog festival is composed of many events like masses, sports events, singing contest and the highlights of the event is the street dancing.Where contingents comes from different provinces because not are only  Cebuano who celebrates the said festival but all the people all through out the country who believe in God and Sr. Sto.Niño as their patron saint.For Filipino's Sinulog festival is not just about street dancing and other fun act ivies but it is their ways of showing their faith to their patron saint who for them is their provider and their way of saying thank you for all the blessing that they receive from  the Almighty God .
